Better sleep. Reduced anxiety. Improved immune function. A calmer and more peaceful life.

Full spectrum CBD oil’s interaction with the endocannabinoid system (ECS) means it’s good for quite an array of different things! As we’ve said before, it’s almost as if the plant molecule is adaptable. If someone needs help with their sleep, it often helps specifically with that; if one has chronic pain, it usually seems to improve that.

So could CBD help athletes who want to get fitter, faster and stronger? It does promote things like fat oxidation (fat burning) and nervous system health, after all — and that’s only at first glance.

At Vision Aura, we’re confident that CBD can. That’s because the very same qualities of the ECS that improve health in a normal person…can further amplify fitness for those who are already fit!

We see CBD oil as an adaptogen. While it’s not officially classified as one yet, it does fit all the qualifications: it’s a phytochemical, it’s anti-stress, it stabilizes bodily processes, and it encourages homeostasis. It can help an athlete deal with and overcome the stressors of intense training just as well as it helps anyone deal with the normal stressors of life!

As an athlete, you already know that the best training plans walk a very fine line. In order to continue improving you have to push yourself to the maximum — but not too often,  because you also have to give allow yourself some time to recover.

In the process of finding this training sweet spot, you might overdo things. Your CNS (central nervous system) might get burned out; you might get injured. Chronically elevated levels of cortisol, the fight-or-flight stress hormone, could make it pretty tough to get good sleep.

Thankfully, though, CBD can help reduce or even eliminate these risk factors. Its pro-adaptive qualities ensure that your workouts remain in the ‘good stress’ category they should.

Going a step further, though, could CBD be a physiological and psychological driver of exercise? Could it actually be hacking the system in such a way as to encourage — and reward — our workouts?

While what that question brings us to is primarily theory, it’s also very, very interesting. Only in the past few years have scientists learned that endocannabinoids, and not endorphins, for the most part, are responsible for that post-exercise euphoria we call ‘runner’s high’.

Endorphins are great and all, but they’re much too big to really pass into the brain. Endocannabinoids (eCB’s), on the other hand, readily move across the blood-brain barrier. And a 2004 study found that these eCB’s are greatly boosted after an intense workout.

Coincidence? We think not. Author studies introduced what they called an “endocannabinoid hypothesis” to explain runner’s high, which they aptly described as pure happiness, elation, a feeling of unity with one’s self and/or nature, endless peacefulness, inner harmony, boundless energy, and a reduction in pain sensation”.

What we have in runner’s high is actually a mechanism, built into the body, designed specifically to promote exercise. Pretty amazing! And, like so many other things, this mechanism is controlled by the endocannabinoid system. That makes it a prime candidate to be improved upon by CBD oil.

To answer the question we asked earlier: if you take CBD, then yes…you might also be taking something that subconsciously makes you want to exercise.

Regardless of your motivation levels, though, there’s only one way to find out if CBD complements your fitness goals. That’s by trying it, of course. Consider taking a small dose of full spectrum CBD oil prior to your next workout, and then stay attentive to any changes in how you feel.

All the endurance athletes out there will likely benefit as their bodies shift to beta-oxidation (that’s where fat stores are made more readily available for fuel). CBD isn’t even the only compound in hemp that has this effect; a slew of other terpenes and cannabinoids have been shown to do pretty much the same thing via AMPK activation. Several former pro cyclists have turned to CBD for these reasons — also citing that they don’t need conventional painkillers anymore!

If you’re a strength athlete, you’ll probably experience better proprioception and less ‘shakiness’ on heavy lifts. You may even be able to handle your favorite pre-workout with fewer jitters! After all, CBD acts on adenosine receptors in a way that’s perfect for balancing out the side effects of caffeine. As always, the plant molecule demonstrates its impressive ability to maintain balance for both endurance and power athletes.

Another big health factor for both types of athletes: antioxidants. Or, more accurately, oxidants, since those are the potentially-damaging molecules that exercise helps produce. Think of oxidants and free radicals as the byproducts of metabolism, almost like exhaust is the byproduct of fuel getting burned in a car.

These byproducts aren’t normally an issue, but speed up metabolic pathways for long enough and they might become built up themselves. That’s not good. Left unchecked, high levels of free radicals can promote DNA damage and increase the risk of age-related diseases.

While many athletes are aware of the free radical issue, they may not be aware that common supplemental solutions — like vitamin C or E — might be doing too much. Small amounts of free radicals act are actually helpful; they act as signaling molecules that push the body onwards to adapt. It’s not a good idea to just blindly reduce them.

But this is one more thing CBD helps with. Unlike conventional antioxidants, it gently reduces internal stress and oxidation by boosting levels of something known as glutathione, our body’s internal antioxidant. CBD is so effective as an antioxidant (at the same time not overdoing things!) that the US government has a secretive research patent on the subject. We’d encourage you to do more research, too.

All in all, these are just a few of the ways that CBD can positively impact you as an athlete. Like always, the plant molecule is remarkably diverse — so there are also other modes of action. It’s no wonder pro athletes like golfer Bubba Watson support CBD; Watson calls the plant’s use for enhancing recovery a “no brainer”. From a very different sport, pro rock climber Steph Davis uses CBD to help her stay energized and focused.

While more conclusive research needs to come out before we can say exactly how much CBD will help you with your sport, initial findings have been pretty promising. Look for some of these newfound concepts to be better validated by science in the near future…and in the meantime, feel free to experiment on the interactions between CBD, your fitness, and you.

With the fall season comes change, it’s a chance to get out into nature and see the transition of the seasons. For many people, this is also a time to transition into new lifestyles. Kids are back to school or heading to college. The Real Benefits of Full Spectrum Hemp Oil

For you, this might be the transition season to Full-Spectrum hemp oil.

If you are reading this, then you probably have a little bit of knowledge on CBD. What you’re looking for is extra information to help you decide on which of the two is best for you.

Just in case you are new to all this. Here is a quick run-through on everything you need to know about the two types of hemp oil.

What Is Full-Spectrum CBD?

Full-spectrum CBD also known as full-spectrum hemp oil, refers to the oil extracted from the hemp plant that contains not only CBD but is also inclusive of all other naturally occurring components such as essential vitamins, terpenes, omega fatty acids, flavonoids and other cannabinoids such as CBD-A, CBN, CBC, CBG, and THC.

What Is Isolate CBD?

Isolate on the other hand is a form of the cannabidiol extract that removes the presence of THC. After CBD is extracted from the hemp plant, it is processed to remove all oils, waxes plant material and any other components that are not the cannabidiol.

Leaving behind a pure form of CBD mostly presented in crystals or white powder form. Both types are usually consumed in oil format, but also come in balms, vape, and edibles.

About Cannabis

If you’re new to the world of CBD, then the mention of the cannabis plant may have gotten you a little bit worried about getting high. So, can you get high off ingesting hemp oil? No, you cannot.

It is essential to understand that full-spectrum hemp oil contains such a small amount of THC (the component in cannabis responsible for getting someone “high” when ingested or smoked) you will not get high on of your hemp-derived CBD, at all, even if it’s a full-plant extract.

The Real Benefits of Full Spectrum Hemp Oil

The Real Full Spectrum Benefits: The Entourage Effect

The entourage effect refers to a theory that was developed and backed by several scientists after their research on the healing effects of plant materials.

This is the concept of the different compounds working in harmony to magnify and boost their therapeutic effects. The complex mix of cannabinoids, essential nutrients, protein, and healthy fats work synergistically to encourage homeostasis and balance in our health.

Therefore, in the case of cannabinoids such as CBD, it is believed that taking full spectrum hemp oil will result in better healing results as compared to CBD isolate.  Why? Researchers determined that without the presence of THC, the endocannabinoid does not fully activate.

When we talk about the healing benefits of full spectrum CBD, we mean mental and physical. The ingestion of the full spectrum hemp can result in relief over many ailments. However, these benefits can only be truly experienced when taken on a consistent basis.

Conclusion

In the end, it all boils down to preference. The full spectrum benefits of hemp oil are real, evident and more fulfilling compared to isolate CBD. However, nobody in need should be locked out of experiencing the benefits of CBD. So, whichever form of CBD allows you to enjoy these benefits most, is the best option for you.

CBD: It’s not just for us humans anymore.

CBD Oil In 2019, people are also giving the promising plant compound to their pets! As veterinary doctor Francisco DiPolo tells Forbes, “I think it’s powerful and we need to learn more about it.”

In and of itself, CBD’s pet-centric power isn’t so surprising. Maybe you’ve already experienced great things giving CBD to your furry friend of choice. They have an endocannabinoid system just like we do, after all, meaning they can benefit from CBD in pretty much all the same ways.

Yet when it comes to canine-specific CBD, there’s a few things you should keep in mind. For example, did you know that the grapeseed oil base of many CBD oils can be toxic to dogs? For obvious reasons, such things are important — yet there are other elements that go into your dog’s ideal dosing plan, too. Let’s take a closer look.

Canine-Specific Carrier Oils

You could give your pet any of the various CBD oils on the market, of course (as long as it’s free of grapeseed oil). You could even share your bottle of VAHO with them!

But why do that, when a pet-specific CBD oil made with premium MCT oil as its base is available? We’re talking about our new Nano-Enhanced CBD Hemp Oil for Dogs & Cats, of course —  it’s completely safe and holistically effective.

Because once you’ve ensured your product’s quality, it’s smooth sailing from there. You and your pet can expect any or all of the benefits below…

Reduced Anxiety

Anxiety is a big deal for dogs. Their lovable nature makes separating from their owners —  even if for only a few hours — less than easy. Yet anxiety is multifaceted; it’s not just a mental thing. More and more, science points to anxiety actually beginning in the gut.

Thankfully, CBD can help on both fronts. We’ve seen it make the most impact for dogs struggling with separation anxiety, socialization issues, or noise phobias. CBD’s effect on that last one is especially interesting: it appears that CBD can reduce learned noise sensitivities by literally rewiring the brain. Other studies show it can reduce fear-induced learning by modulating the endocannabinoid system. As always, Full-Spectrum varieties of hemp oil seem to be most efficient. Pretty fascinating, right?

Diminished Pain

We all know how heartbreaking it can be to see our furry friends in pain.

But there’s good news: CBD’s ability to selectively reduce inflammation makes it a safe haven for pets with chronic pain. If your pet has painful health issues — or even if they’re recovering from broken bones or recent surgery — CBD could help.

And reduced inflammation, of course, means good things for your pet’s pain levels. Another plus? CBD may even reduce pain directly by its modulation of TRPV1 receptors. Without getting too technical, those are the ones that sense heat (yes, even heat from peppers or hot sauce) and send its signals directly to the brain. We’re said it before, but this is another great example: CBD is truly multifaceted!

If your pet has stubborn pain, here’s what you might expect: less limping, less whimpering, and more mobility. It’s almost like CBD can rewind the clock — if only by a few years — back into pain-free territory.

New Way to Give CBD to Your Pets

Improved Thrive

Chances are that CBD’s helped you find your thrive — that state where you feel fully alive and flow with the passage of life. Guess what? Your pet is waiting to access the same thing!

Think about it: just like us, our pets are often plagued by the modern condition. While we are subjected to endless workweeks and overbooked schedules, often at the expense of our sleep or enjoyment of nature…our pets experience something similar. They are subjected to endless hours stuck inside away from the things they enjoy most.

It’s not surprising there are ‘side effects,’ both for us and them. This is especially true with older dogs; they’re most likely to have been worn out by any or all of the above factors.

Yet CBD could be an ideal natural antidote. Studies show that CBD’s antioxidant and anti-inflammatory qualities might make it effective against age-related diseases. If your canine is limping around, losing mobility, or otherwise struggling to maintain their health, consider introducing them to CBD! It could help keep them thriving well into the golden years. Even in older pets, only a small amount of the plant compound is having owners reporting big results.

Scientific Absorption

Most CBD oil meshes with the body like oil mixes with water — in other words, not very good. That’s true for both dogs and humans. Even leading scientists admit that “the oral bioavailability of CBD has been shown to be very low (13–19%). It undergoes extensive first-pass metabolism…”

Yet science has recently discovered one exciting solution: Nano-Enhanced CBD.

And the Full-Spectrum, Nano-Enhanced Hemp Oil VAHO uses is among the industry’s best. With a unique phospholipid encapsulation system and unparalleled bioavailability, our Hemp Oil makes fast-absorbing CBD possible.

The result of all this advancement? Near-100 percent availability…much better than the 13-19 percent (25% max) bioavailability seen with ‘normal’ CBD. That means better health for your pet — and a better-stocked wallet for you.

Intuitive Dosing

If all sounds good so far, you might be wondering exactly how to help your dog harness CBD’s health benefits.

In other words, you might be wondering…about how to find the perfect dosing!

Like with us humans, though, CBD dosing remains more of an art than a science. Factors like your pet’s body weight and endocannabinoid sensitivity compound to provide all sorts of interrelated variables.

We recommend starting slow for additional reasons as well. The idea of microdosing CBD continues to gather scientific backing…and it doesn’t take advanced science to realize that you’ll be saving money with this method, too.

Begin with sprinkling one or two drops of CBD onto your dog’s food, twice per day… and slowly go up from there. As you begin to notice your pet getting calmer — frequently they’ll begin sleeping better, too — you can start leveling off their dose. The chart below shows where pets of different weights often end up:

11 kg / 25 lbs 2 drops 1 mg 1-2 times daily

11-23kg / 25-50 lbs 4 drops 2 mg 1-2 times daily

23-34 kg / 50-75 lbs 6 drops 3 mg 1-2 times daily

34 kg / 75 lbs + 8 + drops 4 + mg 1-2 times daily

Of course, you don’t have to subscribe to these dosing recommendations entirely. Chances are you know your pet’s body better than you do! In the same way, you’ll appreciate what CBD does for your canine more than anyone else. You’re the one who’s around them all day, after all.

Maybe you and your pet will even use CBD to attain better health together. Regardless, we at Vision Auro Hemp Oil are here to help. We want our customers to experience the plant-based holistic lifestyle every human — and every animal — deserves.

CBD might be categorized as a nutritional supplement…but can you remember the last time a supplement was surrounded by so much excitement?

We can’t either.

And with CBD’s popularity projected to build well into the distant future, it could make the perfect gift this Christmas season.

After all — who wouldn’t want their loved ones to experience better health in 2020? If nothing else, who wouldn’t want their mother-in-law to become a little more laid back, or see their kids feeling a little calmer?

CBD is a gift that quite literally keeps on giving…and there are several people on your Christmas list that might benefit from it most. Let’s take a closer look!

The Coffee Drinkers

Let’s face it: we all need a lift every now and then.

That’s where coffee — a naturally-produced beverage which, like CBD, has been recognized for its health benefits recently — comes in. Coffee is rich in antioxidants (the #1 antioxidant source of many Americans, in fact), bioflavonoids, and other compounds (like caffeine!) that should be enough to fight off the winter blues.

Indeed, a hot cup of coffee is perhaps one of the best antidotes for the depressing weather we call winter. Those who love coffee — or even that friend of yours who seems outright addicted to it — may be surprised to hear that the drink goes great with CBD. |

Your Christmas List Can Benefit From CBD

The Anxious

If someone on your X-Mas list is overdoing the caffeine, however, they might need CBD for a different reason: anxiety.

But overdosing on coffee isn’t the only reason for anxiety, of course, so we’re thankful that CBD also offers hope to those with full-blown clinical anxiety.

It’s true: one of CBD’s most obvious — and immediate — benefits is reduced anxiety. The plant compound seems to modulate serotonin, dopamine, and other neurotransmitters en route to keeping one’s mood balanced. Here’s what VAHO customer Kyle experienced:

“I have had high anxiety for the past few years with a touch of depression. After being introduced to Vision Aura Hemp Oil, I was also informed of the importance of Full Spectrum hemp oil which is what VAHO is. I started taking it after my morning routine including meditation and yoga. After two weeks of adding Vision Aura to my daily routine, I found my anxiety has almost fully subsided. I find myself now living in the moment and not worrying about uncontrollable things. I highly recommend anyone else who suffers from anxiety to try Vision Aura Hemp Oil hoping it may help your life as much as it has changed mine.”

The Digestion-Challenged

The Christmas season has a lot of nice features…but health food usually isn’t one of them. If exposure to sweets has you feeling microbiome-ally compromised, consider CBD. Research shows it may possess powerful antimicrobial and anti-bacterial qualities.

Those with more chronic digestive ailments may benefit from CBD, too. A (shortened) review from one of our happy customers, Karen, might be worth a thousand words:

I have lived with severe stomach pains and IBS for several years. I have gone to the doctor receiving numerous medications attempting to yield the pain to no success…

After using two different brands of CBD I was introduced to Vision Aura Hemp Oil, which I was skeptical at first because the price was lower and I feel you normally get what you [pay for].

…After trying VAHO’s Full Spectrum my stomach started feeling much better right after using it and shortly after that the pain was completely gone. I would definitely recommend VAHO CBD oil to anyone that has pain. It has changed my life.”

The Sweets-Lovers

On a similar note, the surpluses of sugary food available to most of us at Christmastime can wreak havoc on our body’s insulin sensitivity.

Yet again, CBD may be the perfect natural antidote. Research shows it may help regulate blood sugar via improving insulin’s function — and this effect holds true for diabetics and non-diabetics alike.

CBD may even help your body stay in ‘fat-burning’ mode; that could also result in better-regulated blood sugar for you. So while we’re not suggesting you should use CBD simply to counteract oversweetened indulgences…if you’re going to indulge anyway, adding a little CBD to the mix definitely won’t hurt!

The Overworked

Other members of your friends and family might be blessed to enjoy good general health…but even they could be carrying an extra burden throughout the holidays.

Unfortunately, it’s not uncommon to reach Christmas with your job still stressing you out. And just think of the countless seasonal workers out there; they may not be getting any holiday break at all!

Thankfully, CBD is anti-stress in nature. It could be just the thing to help you kick back, unwind, and rightfully enjoy a season of relaxation with your family. Here’s some social proof from another member of the VAHO family, John:

“I have been taking VAHO for almost 6 months now thanks to Rick. As a professional in the automotive industry I deal with a lot of the regular stresses that we all deal with. And the pressure of operations within my job can stress me out which leads me to feel anxious.

I can tell you that after taking CBD oil, I haven’t had any of the anxiety and rather than sleeping 4-5 hours a night, I have been sleeping up to 7 hours. It’s been years since I’ve slept like that. To top it all off, I recently had arthroscopic knee surgery and the orthopedic surgeon prescribed Vicodin for the pain…

…Rick had told me if I could manage it that I should increase my CBD dosage rather than take Vicodin due to its anti-inflammatory and pain-relieving properties. I took one pain pill the first day after surgery and never took another one again! I didn’t need to. This stuff is amazing and I am thankful for Rick and sharing his wealth of knowledge regarding CBD and healthy living.”

Women

Take it from Forbes, who reported last November that “CBD gifts are at the top of every wellness-obsessed woman’s wish list this season.”

The reason? They cite several: “…better slumber, relieving anxiety, easing stress and improving the health of your skin,” before emphasizing that CBD is “an essential part of self-care after the hustle and bustle of the holidays.”

CBD may be just the gift for that special woman in your life, whether she’s your wife, fiancé, or mom. (yes, even mother-in-laws may benefit, as mentioned earlier.) Also of interest is the possibility that CBD could help regulate feminine hormones

Not to single out an entire gender or anything — men need all the CBD-centric help they can get, too.

Men

While some stats show women were earlier adopters of CBD than men, times are changing.

In 2019, men are quickly realizing the benefits of CBD, too! Why? Largely for the same reasons as women —  they aren’t impervious from the stressors of modern life, either.

And many of the Dads out there are testifying that CBD helped them strengthen the bond to their children (you can thank ECS modulation of oxycontin for at least part of that effect). Other Fathers find CBD helps them relax after a long, stressful workday.

Another reason why CBD could be great for men? Its sports-specific benefits.

The Health Conscious

CBD is the perfect complement to a healthy life. For the team at VAHO, CBD empowers to go the distance on the most innate level possible.

We use CBD as a catalyst for the active life. We take it before hikes, bike rides, and weightlifting sessions. We use it to get into the sports-performance zone more easily…and to recover more quickly post-workout and sleep well at night.

If any of this sounds familiar— maybe it reminds you of an especially active friend — consider giving the gift of CBD this Christmas. If you’re the active one, on the other hand, please note that you can also give CBD to yourself!

One more thing: if you do opt to supply your family and friends with CBD this year, just make sure it’s Full Spectrum. The health-conscious among your friends will definitely appreciate the added value. Want to go above and beyond? Take a look at CBD that’s been Nano-Enhanced, too.

Why should I take full spectrum CBD oil?

Full spectrum CBD oil includes a wide range of plant compounds (cannabinoids) present in the plant, while pure CBD, or isolate, contains only one plant compound, CBD. It also contains many beneficial plant components such as terpenes, vitamins, minerals, fatty acids, flavonoids and fiber. It is a whole plant product, with a wider therapeutic range than CBD isolate, and it contains many potentially healthful components. The good news that none of the components of CBD have been found to be toxic to humans.

The good news that none of the components of CBD have been found to be toxic to humans.

Now that the word about Full Spectrum CBD oil is being recognized, its popularity is expanding, and it is opening many different buying opportunities for consumers.  One of the most important questions that consumers want to know is, ‘What is the best way to take my CBD oil?’ and ‘Which CBD oil is the best?’

Product differentiation – a wealth of buying opportunities – caters more to the business side, and most businesses recognize the need to differentiate their product.  The upshot is that many different products are in the marketplace.  With the wide array of products available the consumer must make choices.

What is the best way to get the full benefit of the CBD oil?

The most important aspect of taking CBD is to understand the bioavailability of the product.  If you don’t know what bioavailability is, don’t stress it, I break it down into incredibly simple language. Bioavailability is how easily the full spectrum CBD oil may be absorbed into your body’s core systems.

For example, whenever you take a supplement there are different ways of taking it. One way is to take it orally.  Think of coffee: we consume it orally and it passes through the digestive tract and liver, then it enters your bloodstream and finds it way to the brain where it acts as a stimulant and increases energy and alertness.  Some products are applied to the skin, where their special properties allow the medicine to be absorbed rather than digested. This method may work well for local pain.  The spoiler there is that the best method for CBD oil is to take it sublingually – under the tongue.  Sublingual delivery of the medicine is generally much faster than oral absorption and the percentage of each dose absorbed is higher than what is achieved using an oral ingestion.  This leads us to emphasize the general methods for taking Full Spectrum CBD oil.

Method 1: Full Spectrum CBD oil

The most popular method for taking Full Spectrum CBD oil is by mouth and is simple and convenient.

There are two different ways of taking Full Spectrum CBD oil by mouth.  The first method is to place the drops on your tongue and to swallow.  Then the oil is digested and spread throughout your core systems, but the bioavailability is low compared to the other way of taking CBD oil orally.  This means that not all of the CBD becomes ‘available’ for your body to use.  This is because the oil must be digested like anything else taken by mouth.  The swallowed substance must go through your digestive system and liver before entering your bloodstream for wide distribution.   It is incredibly inefficient and if you want more information, we encourage you to look at this report published by the US National Library of Medicine report by Hanus and Ujvary in 2016.

The second method is to place the oil under your tongue and hold it here for at least 60-90 seconds.  This is the sublingual delivery method, which results in fast and efficient delivery directly into your bloodstream.   Instead of entering your digestive system, the oil is absorbed by the mucous membranes under your tongue instead of going through your entire digestive system, diluting the effects and resulting in a lower ‘available’ dose.

We at Vision Aura promote the sublingual method of taking Full Spectrum CBD oil as this will result in the largest impact by getting your dose directly in to the bloodstream.  Here is a quick little graphic from Instagram that illustrates the best method:

Graphic

Method 2:  Inhaled

An alternative to the sublingual delivery is to inhale cannabis flower that is CBD rich.  Traditional cannabis users are most familiar with this method.  With CBD rich flower there are several ways to inhale – with a traditional ‘joint’ of CBD flower or by ‘vaping’ a CBD concentrate.  Smokers of cannabis are not known to have higher rates of lung cancer, but smoking may irritate your throat and lungs.

Inhalation is known to be one of the fastest ways to deliver CBD to your body because of its quick absorption.  Like sublingual delivery it results in quick absorption.

The reason it has such quick effects is that the alveoli in the lungs can absorb the CBD and transport it into your bloodstream very quickly.   Your lungs have a large surface area of alveoli, making it easy to obtain the health benefits without guessing how much is really absorbed.

The downfall of inhalation is that it can take awhile to get used to it if you are a beginner.  For starters, you will need a vape or rolling papers, which may not be familiar to beginners or older consumers.  Additionally, it may feel harsh on your lungs and cause some respiratory system discomfort when you begin.

Other Methods

There are other ways to take CBD that are being developed for the marketplace.  Although CBD is not soluble in water, CBD enhanced water is becoming more available as companies figure out how to mix CBD with the right components to make it soluble in water.  There are also tinctures (in alcohol) and creams as mentioned, and even soft gels that are swallowed.  We will cover these methods as they become more mainstream.
